Quiet Girl Collective and The Cosmos are joining forces to talk about anxiety - the ways in which it shows up for us and how to manage when feeling overwhelmed. We’ll discuss why we get anxious in the ways that we do and explore how this relates to our identities as women of color:
Â
- Identifying toxic messaging and sources in our lives: family, friends, work, media, society
- How anxiety and stress manifests in our lives
- Acknowledging what's in our control vs. not in our control
- Managing negative self-talk to practice self-affirmation

May is Mental Health Awareness Month. The Cosmos is committed to combatting the stigma in our community by creating supportive, non-judgmental, and resource-rich spaces that empower people to share openly.
We're concerned that young Asian American women ages 15 to 24 die from suicide at a higher rate than other racial/ethnic groups and older Asian American women have the highest suicide rate of all women over 65. Leading research advocates for more culturally relevant solutions to mental health in the Asian community.
That's our motivation for this workshop, and our three-month Health & Wellness Workshop Series.
Join us in facilitating important conversations necessary to change the way women live and work from the inside out.
